If the ancient emperor had a phone, what would it be like? An invitation letter from the Palace Museum reveals a new move of the museum's cultural creative product exploitation.

The Palace Museum is collaborating with the domestic high-end mobile phone brand 8848 Ti Mobile Phone for the first time to put forward a phone for the "emperor".

The new phone, made with titanium and fusing cultural elements from the Palace Museum, is designed for the New Year celebration.

As the brand 8848 is noted for its "craftsman spirit", and focuses on minority group and high-end market, the collaboration this time is a resonance with the museum's "craftsman spirit". It aims to spread traditional Chinese culture in a more diverse way.

The new version phone was designed by famous designer Laurence Xu, who had ever turned the ancient emperors' official robe into an evening gown and designed garment for many celebrities.

Another highlight of the new phone is that it absorbs many elements from the Palace Museum. For example, the phone is installed with several APPs of the museum, as well as pictures of auspicious patterns and 24 Solar Terms from the museum as screen saver and wallpaper.

The Palace Museum version phone for New Year will be officially released in the Zijin Academy in the Palace Museum on Dec 19.
