The China Royal Cuisine Museum, the first and only private museum devoted to imperial food traditions, is staging a new drama. It shows a brief history of royal cuisine in China, as well as how professionals managed to preserve and promote those cooking skills of royal cuisine in times of crisis.

Titled Yuxiandu Thousands of Years' Taste, the drama is directed by Yu Min, famous for Chinese TV series, and it is performed every day by staff members of the museum. Visitors can watch it for free, while having dinner that features royal cuisine dishes.
