Among China's richest authors, Nanpai Sanshu has adapted his novel series The Grave Robbers Chronicles into the action thriller Time Raider.

Pop star Lu Han and top actor Jing Boran star in the upcoming film as visible in the first posters released on Friday.

Hong Kong filmmaker Daniel Lee, known for a number of martial arts epics, has directed the film.

The big-budget film has been produced by the Shanghai Film Group and Letv Pictures.
