The film company of Hollywood's Russo Brothers (Anthony and Joe Russo), Anthem Pictures, signed strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing on April 18 with Beijing Culture, an entertainment industry conglomerate for the co-production of films.

Under the agreement, the brothers, who directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier and the upcoming Captain America: Civil War, will possibly adapt the ancient Chinese classic Journey to the West into a film using top-tier technicians from Hollywood.

The film will be in Chinese, but no other details were released.

The agreement also aims to nurture local filmmaking expertise and is also expected to focus on improving the standard of Chinese sci-fi films.

Beijing Culture and Anthem Pictures have also agreed to facilitate ways for Chinese filmmakers to join Hollywood productions.
