An international alliance of art museums was established in Beijing last week to help coordinate appraisal of cultural-relic art pieces and financing of the cultural industry.
The new platform, which includes 50 cultural institutes from both China and overseas, was launched by the International Cultural Financial Exchanges Alliances, a Beijing-based association for cultural and copyright trade exchanges.
It aims to combine efforts in China in a wide range of fields, including protection of intangible cultural heritage, publishing and design, to accelerate promotion of the nation's cultural industry abroad.
A new art-piece appraisal system simultaneously went online to facilitate registry, custody, and insurance of those collections, and more online financing channels will be arranged in the future.
