The Double Ninth Festival is celebrated on the ninth day of the ninth lunar month, falling on Oct 21 this year. The festival is also known as Chongyang Festival as well as the Senior Citizens' Festival. In ancient times, people believed that the double ninth day was worth a celebration. [Photo/Chinanews.com]
