An art exhibition kicked off at the clothing store JNBY in Beijing's Sanlitun on Sep 15. "Land, Devil & Night" curated by You Yang, Deputy Director of the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art (UCCA) presents artworks of artists He An, Lu Pingyuan, and Zhao Yu.
The art pieces including a birds-eye-view of carpeting, clothing embroidered with stories written in Chinese characters, and the cold images that cover the walls create an artistic atmosphere for customers at the store.
"When walking into the store, the meaning of clothes as representations of people is strengthened. The internal and the external link between artworks and exhibition space is akin to clothing and the human body," said UCCA's website.
The exhibition runs through December 15 .
