China's first market for buying back China's lost cultural relics overseas will be opened in Shunyi district by the end of this November, making it easier for the Chinese government and its museums to get back lost cultural relics, the Beijing Daily reported.

The market will be in favor of foreign sellers who legally own Chinese cultural relics for sale with preferential policies.

With the market's official opening in November, there will also be a fair for returning cultural relics, where cultural relics lost overseas before 1949 and those legally exported after 1949 will be exhibited and auctioned.
