Photos, daily decorations and handicraft items are among 40 artistic pieces featured in the Beautiful Qinghai exhibition at the China Cultural Center in Seoul which launched "Qinghai Cultural Week". The show aims to display both the natural and cultural beauty of Qinghai, a province of western China.
Hao Xiaofei, China's envoy to South Korea, stressed that cultural exchange plays a crucial role in bringing people together. This year is "China Tourism Year" in South Korea and she hoped that more Koreans acquire a wider knowledge and deeper understanding of Qinghai.
Cui Zaiqian, a member of the South Korean Congress, said Qinghai has unique geographic features and social customs, and that the exhibition is a good opportunity for Korean people to get to know the region.
