The Parkview Museum in Beijing launched in 2017 an exhibition series, Bridging Asia-Europe, to boost exchanges between contemporary Asian and European artists and cultural communities. The previous two exhibitions show works presenting a globalized context and diversified perspectives to address the changing cultural and social landscapes.

Curated by Lorand Hegyi, the third exhibition of the series, now on at the museum throughout April 2020, features four artists who in their youth experienced dramatic social change and whose creation reflects deepening communication between the East and West throughout decades since the 1950s and '60s.

Works by Giuseppe Gallo of Italy, Hubert Scheibl of Austria, Ling Jian of China and Milenko Prvacki of Singapore together consist of a vibrant, encyclopedic view, in which the audience embarks on a journey led by the artists to review the revolving ways of communication, the transmission of information and the formation of languages and texts over the course of four decades.
