Nobuyoshi Araki, an exhibition now on at Beijing's Art Bridge space through Sept 1, brings together Araki's many flower series shot over his career spanning nearly six decades.
It begins with old photos he captured during his late wife Yoko's hospitalization.
Yoko was crazy about flowers and after she died of ovarian cancer, Araki started to take a lot of pictures of flowers as a way to remember her.
Gradually, the photos became more vivid. And the flowers look even more glamorous.
