Notte Bianca, Malta's biggest annual arts and culture festival, attracted some 70,000 visitors in the Maltese capital of Valletta on Oct 6.

For eight years in a row, the Chinese cultural center in Malta has become part of the event. This year, it joined hands with Chinese governmental and cultural organizations such as China Network of International Culturalink Entities and China Arts and Crafts Association to add Chinese colors to the yearly cultural carnival.

A wide range of Chinese elements, including Chinese food, painting and calligraphy, traditional handcrafts and traditional Chinese medicine, were featured. In a Chinese cultural workshop that displayed traditional culture, visitors were also able to learn ancient techniques including making tea, ceramics and embroideries.
