The Southeast Asia regional company of China Railway Construction International Group launched a charitable donation on February, providing a batch of anti-epidemic materials to social welfare home the Paiatai Angel House in Bangkok, Thailand.

Sassi, head of the public relations department of the home, said at this tough moment of confronting COVID-19, Chinese enterprises extended helping hands and joined with Thailand to contain the epidemic, showing the best proof of friendship between the two peoples.

Founded in 1952, Paiatai Angel Home is the first welfare home prepared by the Thai government, with 320 children and more than 150 faculty members. In December 2019, China Railway Construction International Group went to the home and carried out charitable activities.

“We are duty-bound to help local people prevent and control the epidemic and fulfill our social responsibility. We hope we can contribute to the protection of lives and health of local people,” said Xu Zhong, deputy general manager of the group.
