Children's exchanges during epidemic give hope to recovery

Children from China and abroad encouraged each other via the Internet by exchanging videos, songs, paintings and emails during the COVID-19 epidemic, expressing their hopes the difficulties would be overcame.

The children got to know each other during International Youth Cultural Exchange Week. After the week, China Soong Ching Ling Foundation held an activity on fighting the disease. Children from the Philippines, Myanmar, Vietnam, Nepal, Indonesia, Russia and other countries sent best wishes through their embassies in China. In addition, some Philippine children growing up and living in Beijing, Guangzhou, Xiamen, Huzhou and other places in China expressed sincere wishes that their second home, China, would overcome the epidemic.

Ambassadors of the embassy in China have also recorded videos to encourage China, praising China's measures in epidemic prevention and control. They were convinced China would overcome the epidemic and its normal production and living order would be restored.

After the epidemic, children from all countries will continue exchanges and cooperation. Everyone has high hopes that day is coming soon.
