China shines in Asian Teenagers Chess Open

Recently, Asian Teenagers Chess Open came to an end. Jiang Rongbing from the Shanghai team took top prizes in men’s 18-20 years old group, blitz chess and rapid chess. Hua Chenhao took the first place in men’s 14 years old group and blitz chess game as well as the second place in rapid chess. Gu Bowen won the championship in men’s 12 years old blitz chess and second place in long chess and rapid chess. Zhang Jiawen became the champion in women’s 14 years old rapid chess group. And Yu Shiqi took the second place in women’s 14 years old game.

Min Ren from the Sichuan team took the top spot in 12 years old group and “ten and ten” rapid game and second place in “three and two” blitz chess game. Diao Jianfeng won all the three gold medals in 16 years old group, rapid chess and blitz chess. A feat that has made him very famous.

The Open was divided into 10 groups, including long chess, rapid chess group and blitz chess group. Among all the 30 gold medals, the Chinese team took 12 of them, while the Vietnamese team had great advantages in men’s 8 years old and women’s 10 years old games. Teens from all over Asia competed and practiced together during the Open and then exchanged gifts with each other, developing friendship. The Vietnamese government attached great importance to the Open and made full preparation for it, which made the whole game safe and smooth for Asian teenagers to improve together.
