Soccer players participating in the 2018 “Soong Ching Ling” China-ASEAN Teenager Soccer Friendship Competition were invited to take part in cultural activities at the China Soong Ching Ling Science and Culture Center for Young People on Aug 17.

The competition was hosted by China-ASEAN Center, China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, and the Chinese Football Association, with the aim of marking the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the strategic partnership between the two sides. More than 150 young soccer players from China and ASEAN countries attended the competition.

Some of the players expressed their admiration for Chinese culture, saying that they would share their experiences in China with family and friends in their home countries.
