The China-ASEAN Int'l Youth Football Tournament concluded in Dongxing, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region on February 25, 2016, after the final competition between the teams from the Philippines and Uzbekistan. She Jing, vice chairman of China Soong Ching Ling Foundation (CSCLF), Song Jian, deputy director of CSCLF Liaison Department, Yang Xiuping, secretary-general of China-ASEAN Center, Wei Jixiang, vice chairman of China Football Association, attended the closing ceremony.

This year's champion was the Croatian Team, and the Chinese Team got the third prize.

Besides football competition, the sponsors also organize players to participate in exchange activities with local young students, to promote their mutual understanding and deepen their friendship. She Jing, vice chairman of CSCLF, Yang Xiuping, secretary-general of China-ASEAN Center, together with officials, guests, local officials of Dongxing city, 4 participating football teams and local teenager students, took part in a tree planting activity on February 25, 2016. The trees they planted symbolized the long-lasting friendship between China and ASEAN countries.

During the tournament, the sponsors also made use of the off-days to organize football activities on campus. Chinese and foreign players mixed with local teenagers to play football, promoting the development of campus football.
