"Beijing Week" opened in Sri Lanka

The opening ceremony of "Beijing Week" was held on Oct 17 in Colombo, capital of Sri Lanka. This cultural exchange activity was sponsored by Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (BPAFFC) and Beijing Mentougou District People's Government and co-organized by the Chinese Embassy to Sri Lanka. Beijing brought wonderful performances and a photo exhibition, which prompted enthusiastic response.

This event will be held in Kandy, a city in central Sri Lanka, with performances, a folk handicrafts exhibition and a cooking show.
