Chinese Minister of Culture Cai Wu holds a meeting with Oyungerel, the minister of the Mongolian Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

President Xi Jinping paid a state visit to Mongolia in August. To further enhance the Sino-Mongolian cultural exchange, Minister of Culture Cai Wu accepted the invitation from Tsedevdamba Oyungerel, the minister of the Mongolian Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and visited Mongolia with the Chinese government cultural delegation Aug 20 - 24. During his visit to Mongolia, China and Mongolia’s administrative department of culture signed an annual cultural exchange implementation plan, and successfully held a "Chinese Culture Week" and other events. The minister, Cai Wu, also discussed with Mongolia about further enhancing bilateral cultural exchanges and in-depth cooperation.
