Forum on China-Africa cultural heritage protection opens in Beijing

Ding Wei, vice-minister of the Ministry of Culture and his Zimbabwean counterpart Andrew Langa attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Ding underscored the importance of the heritage preservation in promoting a nation’s culture and maintaining cultural diversity. He encouraged both sides to cooperate in the cultural heritage protection.

Andrew Langa introduced the history and condition of their heritage perseveration and suggested both sides learn from each other and jointly promote cultural exchange and the prosperity of culture.

African representatives left for Nanjing city, Jiangsu province on Sept 25 to attend a seminar with local experts in heritage preservation and exchange experiences.
