The 2nd session of visiting program for young sinologists opens in Beijing

After Jin’s speech, six young sinologists delivered speeches at the opening ceremony. They expressed their pleasure at being invited to the visiting program and their aspirations to make full use of this opportunity. They would exert themselves to have academic exchanges with young sinologists from all over the world as well as Chinese experts and scholars, deepen their understanding about China, and enrich their knowledge and practice on related fields.

“2014 young sinologists visiting program”, co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, is a program aimed at helping young sinologists to visit China for deeper research and cultural exchanges. Its first session, held on July this year, has attracted 18 great young sinologists from 15 countries and achieved remarkable effects.
