Confucius-style Cakes
According to different functions and purposes, Confucius-style cakes falls into two types. The first type, led by pancakes and shortbreads, was used as tributes and gifts to emperors and nobles in the past.
The other type contains seasonal, perennial, guest-greeting and festival-dedicated cakes, including green bean and chestnut cakes, smashed bean buns and sweet dumplings.
