Qinghai impresses Expo visitors
Folk songs and dances with strong ethnic flavor marked the start of the Qinghai Culture Week at the Baosteel Stage on Sep 16.

Shanghai Mayor Han Zheng said the culture week would offer people a panoramic view of Qinghai's natural beauty, rich heritage, and the unyielding spirit of its people -- an allusion to their rescue and reconstruction efforts after a massive earthquake devastated Yushu Prefecture in the province.
Han said the exhibition would help visitors learn more about Qinghai, the origin of three major rivers, the Yangtze River, the Yellow River and the Lancang River (Mekong River).
