Jiangjin Rice Cake

Jiangjin rice cake was originally called Taihezhai rice cake and was made in 1910. Originally the rice was fried with sand, but is now fried with oil. Because it's crispy and sweet with an elaborate shape, cheap price and convenient packaging, it’s popular inside and outside the province and has been sold abroad since the early 1960s. It was awarded the high-quality good of year in 1979 by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Commerce.
