River Min
River Min is the biggest river in Fujian, is the emblem of the province. Starting from the Wuyi Mountains, the river is 2,872 kilometers in total length and flows over 60,806 square kilometers, about half of the whole province. It passes through the western part of Fuzhou, whence it cuts through a large valley near Min'an before feeding into the East Sea. Lined by green hills on its banks, the river is noted for its scenic beauty. Cruising along the River Min has been the tourists' fascination.
