Trinidad and Tobago holds Chinese traditional painting and calligraphy exhibition

Chinese traditional painting and calligraphy exhibition opened at the National Museum in Port of Spain, the capital of Trinidad and Tobago, on Sept 23. Co-hosted by Confucius Institute and Chinese Embassy in Trinidad and Tobago, the exhibition showcased more than 60 works from various artists, including Yang Chongguang, director of Chinese Traditional Arts and Culture at the Institute in Peking University and calligrapher, Zhao Yanbin, researcher at the Institute and painter, and Lan Wenxiang, landscape painter. The exhibition was held to present Chinese traditional painting and calligraphy to art lovers in Trinidad and Tobago and promote its cultural exchange with China.
