A grandiose music piece, entitled "Impression Chinese Music" is set to wow audiences in Beijing later this month.
The music in the show has been composed by emerging musicians, instead of using classical pieces, with the central idea being to encourage young Chinese artists to think outside the box and inject new vibrancy into traditional Chinese music.

The director of the show is Wang Chaoge, who was named "the most creative Chinese stage show director" among critics for her work with Zhang Yimou, including the opening performance of the Beijing Olympics and "Impression Dahongpao".
Her reputation and style are certainly apparent here, with the innovative use of light effects to create a unique piece.
