Exclusive interview with Stephan Christ

 Stephan Christ, German, is a sinologist at Hamburger University, whose research topic focuses on Confucianism in the 21st century. He also has rich experience in translating dramatic literature and has earned high academic achievement in this regard.

He came to China with the "2014 Young Sinologists Visiting Program", co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture and the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. It aimed help young sinologists enrich their knowledge about China and facilitate deeper research in their fields.

He talks with our reporter about what he thinks about the program, his view of Confucianism and his experience translating drama.
