Looking China 2014 begins at Beijing Normal University

Looking China 2014, a photography event for Chinese and foreign young people, kicked off at Beijing Normal University on July 8, 2014. 59 young people from eight universities in 13 countries, such as Boston University in the U.S, École De Communication Visuelle in France, University of Melbourne in Australia, Seoul National University in South Korea and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore will collaborate with Chinese students to shoot 59 short videos about Chinese culture. They will visit Beijing, Tianjin, Suzhou, Dalian and Changsha to see and experience China in person and introduce China to the world through their micro-movies.
 

Looking China 2014 is a cultural exchange program launched and organized by Academy for International Communication of Chinese Culture of Beijing Normal University. Since the initiation of the program in 2011, 43 short movies have been shot, six of which have been awarded international prizes.
