Dujianyan is not only home to an irrigation system on the Minjiang River meant to prevent flooding in Sichuan province, it is also a famous scenic spot featuring many attractions. It was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2000. Dujiangyan, first established in the 3rd century B.C., has the oldest extant irrigation system in the world. [Photo/China.org.cn]
