The Beautiful China Development Forum and award ceremony for Most Beautiful China's Symbols were held in Beijing on Nov. 29.

The event, under the guidance of the State Council Information Office, News and Information Bureau of China National Internet Information Office and Chinese Ministry of Culture, was hosted by China Daily Website and attracted 130 units from all over China since it's launching in July 2013.

Fifteen out of 130 units were presented with 9 Most Beautiful China's Symbol awards at the ceremony.

"The Most Beautiful China's Symbol" is the hallmark for beautiful China. It's a miracle created from the ordinary and a good subject to promote China's image. These honored units represent State image and sprit of the time," said Zhang Ke, vice-president of China Daily Website. "They have established model for ecological civilization and social responsibility, embody economic power and inherit Chinese culture."
