West Lake Art Fair kicked off in Hangzhou

The 15th West Lake Art Fair kicked off in Hangzhou. More than 200 exhibitors participated in the event and tens of thousands of newly created art works by hundreds of artists from both home and abroad were displayed at the fair.

It is said that ceramic invitational exhibition was one of the most important part of the event. Fine literatures of 80 ceramic masters and professors will be exhibited to showcase the sophistication of Chinese ceramic art.

International perspective has been a feature of West Lake Art Fair. Art institutions from America, Italy, Canada and so on will hold a series of exhibitions, including "Italian contemporary art exhibition", "2012 Sino-Japanese Year of Friendly Exchange art exhibition".
