Updated: 2008-05-08 10:43

The eagle pattern is unique among European heraldry for it is the only animal pattern with two heads, and double-headed eagle pattern is famous as the symbol of Russia. The picture above is a Chinese Armorial Porcelain with eagle pattern made between 1770 and 1775 in Guangzhou.

This is one of the most precious Armorial Porcelains with Prussian royal heraldry, which is now collected in Belgium Royal Museum of Art and History. This exquisite work fully shows the outstanding painting skill of Chinese art artisans.
