Online Dialogue on People-to-people Cooperation, the webinar celebrating one-year anniversary of Beijing Science Camp, was launched on July 15, 2020. Participants who attended the camp in Beijing last year gathered online this year to take part in the webinar. Six campers and four representatives exchanged good memories of the camp and shared thoughts about the present and the future.

Zou Jingxin from Brunei said that although she faced many challenges during the camp, she fulfilled the missions successfully with the help of other campers. She also held activities as a monitor. The Science Camp helped her find true self, she said.

Maxi from Indonesia said, “In last year's science camp, I deeply felt China’s culture and science and technology, and missed the sight of students from all over the world singing together about the Beijing ASEAN family.”

Yan Hongyao from Malaysia said that he learned a lot about science, nature, culture and so on in the camp and wished he could study mathematics at a Chinese university.

Nyan Lawe from Myanmar said, “Although only a year has passed, it seems like a long time ago. I miss UCAS and will always remember the gifts we gave each other.”

Ing from Thailand said, “Although I can’t speak Chinese, I made a lot of friends in the camp.”

De Ying from Vietnam said, “The science camp has changed me a lot. I hope to study in China in the future. Although I am still shy, I have grown a lot.”

Starting from this year, the science camp will be upgraded to a “One Belt and One Road” future messenger science camp, which will welcome more young friends.
