"Snow Kid", also referred to as "Snow Child", is a popular Chinese animated film produced by Shanghai Animation Film Studio in 1980. The story is about a rabbit mother who left her young rabbit home alone and built a snowman to accompany her child. The child and the snow kid became good friends immediately and happily played. One night, the young rabbit fell asleep and accidentally started a fire in the cabin. The snowman ran into the burning house and saved the young rabbit, sacrificing himself when melting in the fire.
