On Aug 18-20, the Second China (Zhengzhou) International Street Dance Contest was held in Zhengzhou, Henan province.

The contest was co-hosted by the Chinese Dancers Association, Zhengzhou Municipal Propaganda Department and the government of Jinshui district of Zhengzhou. Over 2,000 contestants joined the contest. They came from 23 provinces in China and 11 countries such as Russia, France, Poland, Japan, South Korea and Laos, and their ages ranging from five to 45. The contest consisted of four parts: single competition for adult groups, single competition for youth groups, and team dance and team battle, with a bonus totalling 130,000 yuan. Four live lessons given by international street dance masters were also held during the contest.

On Aug 19, taking this opportunity, the first annual meeting of the Chinese Dancers Association Committee was held in Zhengzhou. The meeting summarized the achievements made since the founding of the Committee in 2013 and announced the list of newly-added directors and standing directors. It also invited experts to speak and discuss the current state of Chinese street dance and issued the National Street Dance Grading Plan.
