As part of the Ice and Snow Festival of Beijing's Pinggu District, the Yuyang Ski Resort will officially open its doors to ski lovers this weekend.

Situated a mere one-hour drive to the east of downtown Beijing, Yuyang Ski Resort provides a nice combination of both convenience and snowy fun.

The ski resort is a huge ski complex featuring ski area, eco-restaurants, hotel and other snow activities.

Price: 238 yuan for a weekend, including transportation and basic equipment rental fees; 158 yuan for a weekday.

How to get there: Shuttle bus departs at Dongzhimen every day at 8:00 a.m. and returns at 4:00 p.m.
