Celadon Vase with Horizontal Ring Lines, 20.1cm in height, 6.4cm in mouth diameter, 9.7cm in base diameter
The vase has an outstretched mouth and a round base. The rim of its mouth is dark reddish-purple. There are four raised ring lines in horizontal direction on its neck and shoulders. The vase has a glaze in the interior, in the exterior and at the bottom. There are crackles called Jin Si Tie Xian on the glaze. The body unfolded at the base is dark reddish-brown. With a slender neck and an oblate but not bulky body, the vase has simple and refined artistic effects.
With its beautiful shape and stately style, the vase is a typical product from Ge Kiln. Although has a single-color glaze, both the crackles called Jin Si Tie Xian and the raised ring lines which flow in a horizontal direction add flexibility and a rhythmical sense to it.
