Tripod from Ge kiln
Tripod from Ge Kiln, 17.3 in height and 9,2 in foot diameter, is preserved in the Palace Museum in Beijing.
The tripod has a lip-shaped mouth, a bulging body and a full base. On its mouth are two symmetrical ring-shaped handles, one standing on each side. Under its base are three tubular, slender legs. The tripod has a thick, smooth, beige glaze with numerous fine crackles. There are seven burnt traces of Zhi Ding on the interior of its base.
