Bowl in the Shape of an Octahedron

Bowl in the Shape of an Octahedron, 4.2cm in height, 7.8cm in mouth diameter, 2.8cm in base diameter

The bowl, in the shape of an octahedron, has an arc wall, a slightly outstretched mouth and a slightly outstretched round foot in the shape of an octahedron. Its interior has a thin glaze with Bai Ji Sui, which is as fine and dense as cobwebs. Its exterior has a thick glaze with big crackles, called “ice crackles”.

With an original shape, clean-cut edges, natural lines and delicate style, the bowl is considered a treasure among the porcelain products from Ge Kiln.
