Celadon Plate with a Mouth in the Shape of Sunflower Petals

Celadon Plate with a Mouth in the Shape of Sunflower Petals, 4.1cm in height, 20.2cm in mouth diameter, 7.5cm in base diameter

With a shallow body and a flat bottom, the plate is shaped like a six-petaled sunflower. The round base rises and falls in accordance with the wall of the body, which bulges inward, forming six edges. The plate is colored slate-grey glaze with fine crackles. Its body comes together at its round base, which is brownish-black.

With a graceful shape, flexible lines and natural style, the plate is recognized as a representative work from Ge Kiln.
