Many people drink beer to keep cool in the summer. Beers, rich in amino acids and vitamins, can help improve your appetite, help tonify the spleen and dispel summer heat. However, you should pay attention to several things while drinking beer, in order to avoid damaging your body.

First, don’t drink beer to quench thirst. People often drink beer to quench their thirst and cool down. However, beer may actually make people feel thirstier and sweat more. According to experts, people may feel cooler after drinking beer, but after the alcohol enters the body, it will actually stimulate the secretion of adrenalin, speed up your heart beat, expand blood vessels and increase the heat leaving the body through the evaporation of water causing you to become thirstier. Meanwhile, alcohol will also stimulate the kidney and speed up the metabolism and urination which will also cause you to lose even more water. Besides, alcohol can dissolve in your blood and increase the consistency of the blood. After drinking beers, people should drink more plain boiled water or light tea to stay hydrated.
