International show for Chinese operas held in Beijing

The 4th International Show for Peking, Kun and Other Chinese Operas was held on Oct. 20, 2014 in the theatre of Beijing Opera Art's College. The show is co-sponsored by Beijing NGO Association for International Exchanges, Beijing People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries and Beijing Association for Promotion of Peking and Kun Opera. Renowned actors and students of Peking opera, Kunqu opera, Pingju opera, Hebei Clapper opera, Puju opera gave a splendid performance.

About 400 people, including representatives from international organizations, foreign experts, overseas students, Beijing citizens, Chinese opera fans, watched the show. The graceful move, amazing acrobatic fighting and beautiful singing won much warm applause from the audience. Many spectators said that the show helped them better understand the traditional Chinese culture and Chinese operas, and it was a wonderful experience.
