“I am very glad to see that our photographers’ works are enrolled in the PIP. It is my third time to lead our delegation to join in the contest”, said Julia Durkin, chairwoman of the committee of the Auckland Festival of Photography. “The committee of the Auckland Festival of Photography has joined in the Asia-Pacific Photoforum, so during the exhibition, our team members are expected to have good communication with famous photographers from various countries and promote dialogue and exchanges on the development of photography and exhibition. It will provide rich material and experience for the Auckland Festival of Photography”, she said.

He Zhiyun, a member of the Auckland Festival of Photography committee and chairman of the New Zealand Pacific Culture and Arts Exchange Center, said that the committee had put huge effort into selecting the works of New Zealand photographers this year. “We estimated the value of the photo from its quality, technology and theme. All the photos on show are winners from the Auckland Festival of Photography in June 2014. These works reflect the theme of the exhibition and the spirit of people-oriented and environment priority. ”

The 14th China Pingyao International Photography Festival (PIP) was established in 2001. Over the past 13 years, PPI has become one of the largest visual arts platforms in the world.
