Located in the deep mountains of the Qinling-daba area, Liuba is a picturesque landscape covering an area of five square kilometers with a population of 10,000. The popular flower destination boasts green hills and clear lakes where tourism is the leading industry.

In Liuba, after several years of rebuilding over 120 mu of bench land along the Zijin River which flows through the city, the area was transformed from a desert into a land filled with gesang flowers that can grow at high altitudes. In the midsummer the wide range of gesang flowers color the quiet and picturesque city, which draws large numbers of tourists every year.
