Miao people celebrate Dragon Canoe Festival in Guizhou

Miao people celebrate the annual Dragon Canoe Festival in Taijiang County, southwest China's Guizhou Province on June 22, 2014. Thousands of Miao people participated in the celebrations. They held the dragon canoe race to pray for a good harvest. The celebration would last for four days and a series of folk activities would be held. With a history of more than 2,000 years, the Dragon Canoe Festival has been listed as a national intangible cultural heritage. (Chinanews/Qiao Qiming)
