Military ships and weapons were on display Jan 12 as the Royal Thai armed forces marked the nation's Children's Day with an exhibition of its top arms. The royal navy displayed three major warships, the HTMS Chakri Naruebet (pennant number 911), the Siliman (pennant number 871) supply ship made in China, and a new frigate (pennant number 471) recently introduced from South Korea. A number of advanced arms imported from China also were on display.
