Ethnic costumes and performance of national musical instruments are on display at the opening ceremony of the exhibition of award-winning works of 12th China-ASEAN Youth Artwork Creativity Contest at Guangxi Art Museum, Nanning city, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on Sept 13.

More than 300 young artists and youth representatives from China and ASEAN countries attended the opening ceremony.

The contest was launched in May this year to focus on the traditional cultural elements of China and ASEAN countries, to express China or ASEAN countries stories, ideas, sentiments, aesthetic, style, temperament of national musical instruments, national costume design works for the contest content.

In the next step, the organizing committee will also hold activities such as the patrol exhibition of award-winning works of the contest and the charity auctions of China-ASEAN art works.
