The program allowed the youth to acquire new knowledge of local culture, broaden their vision and forge deep ties with their Malaysian peers. Some of them said that they hope to become goodwill ambassadors to deepen the friendship between China and Malaysia.

CSCLF established cooperative relations and signed cooperation agreements with the memorial in 2001, and launched a series of exchange activities for youth of the two countries. During the event in Malaysia, the CSCLF staff exchanged ideas with local universities, colleges and the Chinese consulate. They learned much about education, culture and ethnic Chinese lives in the country that will pave the way for further exchanges.
