Four U16 teams from China, Malaysia, Vietnam and Myanmar participated in the first China-ASEAN International Youth Football Match which was organized by the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, the China Football Association and the Dongxing People’s Government of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. The event is designed to help these teams grow through competition and promote the training of young football players. At the same time, it aims to increase cultural exchanges and friendship between China and ASEAN countries and help implement the One Belt and One Road initiative by enabling young people to play together in the field.
